Hello,

y=3x-15
inverse x and t ==>x=3y-15
Solving y==>y=(x+15)/3=x/3+5
==> N(a)=a/3+5

Answer: The equation of the inverse function would be

[tex]N(a)=\dfrac{n+15}{3}[/tex]

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

[tex]A(n)=3n-15[/tex]

Let A(n) = y.

So, it becomes,

[tex]y=3n-15\\\\y+15=3n\\\\\dfrac{y+15}{3}=n[/tex]

Now, replace y with n and n with N(a).

[tex]N(a)=\dfrac{n+15}{3}[/tex]

Hence, the equation of the inverse function would be

[tex]N(a)=\dfrac{n+15}{3}[/tex]
