KE = 1/2mv^2

m = mass of object

v = velocity ( speed of object )

40m/s bullet :

3 x 40 = 120

120 x 1/2 = 60

Kinetic Energy of 40m/s bullet: 60J

80m/s bullet:

3 x 80 = 240

240 x 1/2 = 120

Kinetic Energy of 80m/s bullet: 120J
