dis % = 20%

dis amount = rs 1500

We know that,

dis amount = dis % of MP

1500= 20% Of mp

1500= 20/100 * MP

1500= 1/5*MP

1500*5 = MP

7500= MP

AGAIN,

SP = MP-Dis amount

= 7500-1500

=rs.6000

now,

vat amount= vat% of Sp

= 23% of 6000

= rs. 1380

therefore, vat amount is Rs. 1380
