Tony made 14 liters of punch for the party . His guest drank 9500 mL of the punch . How much punch does he have left over?

You need them all to be in the same unit. I'm making them all in L.
[tex]\frac{9500}{1000}=9.5L[/tex]
Subtract 14L from 9.5L.
14L-9.5L=4.5L
