rate of change[tex]= \frac{f(5)-f(1)}{5-1} f(x)=5(2)x^2 f(5)=5(2)5^2=10*25=250 f(1)=5(2)1^2 [/tex]
[tex]rate of change= \frac{250-10}{5-1} = \frac{240}{4} =60[/tex]
