Answer:

Let the Width(W) = X cm

then the length(L)= (2+X)cm

Perimeter(P)= 60cm

P =L+W

L+W =P

(2+X)cm +X cm = 60 cm

2X+2=60

2X=60-2

2X=58

dividing both sides by 2

X=29cm

Width =X

Width =29cm

the width is 29cm

Length= (2+X)cm

= (2+29)cm

= 31cm

the length is 31cm
