The answer is coastline lowlands. In Japan, there are 6,800 islands in its archipelago and 4 main islands. Most Japanese live along the coastal lowlands, the mountainous Korean Peninsula lies between China and Japan. Also, North and South Korea, most people live along the lowlands and the coastline.
