y=3

1) Since we want to find jut the y-coordinate, let's eliminate the x using the Method of Addition/Elimination

Since the Least Common Multiple of 3 and 5 is 15. Let's multiply both equations to get 15x and -15x and eliminate those x-terms.

5x-2y=4 x -3

3x-4y=-6 x 5

-15x +6y =-12

15x -20y=-30

------------------------

-14y = -42 Divide both sides by -14

y= 3

2) So y= 3, for this Linear System solution.
