The power of a rotating body is given by:

[tex]P=\tau\omega[/tex]

where P is the power, tau the torque and omega the angular velocity. Plugging the values given and solving for the angular velocity we have:

[tex]\begin{gathered} 37=5.5\omega \\ \omega=\frac{37}{5.5} \\ \omega=3.73 \end{gathered}[/tex]

Therefore the angular velocity is 3.73 rad/s
