First let us simplify the given expression

[tex](3^2)^2=(9)^2=81[/tex]

But we need to express the expression in exponent form and we can't change the base so

[tex]\begin{gathered} \text{Since } \\ 81=3^4 \end{gathered}[/tex]

So our answer would be

[tex]3^4[/tex]
