Dimension of large rectangle, 10 and 20.

Area of larger rectangle = 10 x 20

Area of larger rectangle = 200

Dimension of the small rectangle, 14 and 6.

Area of small rectangle = 14 x 6

Area of small rectangle = 84

Area of shaded region = Area of large rectangle - Area of small rectangle

Area of shaded region = 200 - 84
