Rewrite the equation 4x + 6y = 8 in slope-intercept form.
y = 2/3x + 4/3
y = -2/3x + 4/3
6y = 4x + 8
6y = -4x + 8

Let's get it in slope intercept form. Subtract 4x from both sides.
6y = -4x + 8
Now, we isolate y.
y =-2/3x + 4/3
That is the answer.
