the mode for the data set is 11. a easy way to find the mode is to look for the number that you see the most.

Remember that "mode" in the mathematical terms means the number that appears more than once 

So, the mode of this particular problem (2,5,7,8,11,11,12) would have to be 11 since it appeared more than once in the problem
