8

What we know:

:A ratio can be written as a fraction

:4/2 = 2

:We can either do distributive prop. or just solve whatever is in the parenthesis first because of PEMDAS.

Knowing this, we can say the equation is 4/2 * (3+1)

3+1 = 4

2 × 4 = 8

we can do

(2 × 3) + (2 × 1) which is the same as 6 + 2 and you will also get 8.
