Expanding it, we get 1.3*8-1.3b+3.7b=-5.2 using the distributive property. Next, we get 10.4+2.4b=-5.2. Subtracting 10.4 to both sides, we get -15.6=2.4b. Dividing 2.4 from both sides, we get b=-15.6/2.4=-6.5
