To find the perimeter use the formula s+s+s+s
(One s for each side)
Assuming the shape is a quadrilateral, each side should be added
So 4+4+5+5=18

The perimeter is 18in

To find the area do l×w
Once again, assuming the shape is a parallel (the formula changes depending on the shape)
4×5=20

The area of the shape is 20in^2
