The roles of men during the paleolithic age was to hunt for food especially meat but in general anything useful he could find and get his hands on. Finding good meat and food in general was a hard thing to do in those times. He was also there to protect the group. The woman on the other hand was supposed to watch out for the children and also forage the nearby bushes or rivers to find edible things that were more readily available.
