We have the sequence 2, 6, 10, 14, 18, ... Always 4 being added, so we can say:

The first term is 2. The added is 4, so,

a1 = 2

[tex]a_n=a_{n-1}+4[/tex]

Prove:

[tex]a_2=a_{2-1}+4 => a_2=a_1+4=>a_2=2+4=6[/tex]
