The slope-intercept form: y = mx + b

m - slope

b - y-intercept

------------------------------------------------------

We have m = -2/3, and the point (3, 4).

y = -2/3 x + b

Substitute the coordinates of the point to the equation:

4 = -2/3 (3) + b

4 = -2 + b     |+2

6 = b → b = 6

Answer: y = -2/3 x + 6
