Answer:

Record is the unit for maintenance of the data .The information collection is usually referred with the rows in record unit. A field is defined as the vertical storage of information in table.The data is organized on the basis of type.

Both record and field are the part of Access which is a relational database.This database has records for storing the specific information such as certain product information in rows and field contains various types of information like subject , dates etc. in columns.
