The first six bars of the anthem are dedicated to the Royal Family and the sovereign and his/her consort are saluted throughout the whole song. So basically, the meaning is just a salute and memorial/dedication to the Royal family and their consorts.

well since it's called God Save the Queen, it's like a tribute to the queen & royal family. or a song showing their importance. Hope this helps
