 Kinetic energy  =  (1/2) (mass) (speed)²  .

From this formula for kinetic energy of a moving object, we can clearly
see that kinetic energy is directly proportional to the mass of the object.

If two objects are moving at the same speed, then their kinetic energy
is proportional to their mass.

The 1-kg ball has 1/10 as much kinetic energy as the 10-kg ball.
