Answer: -(m/n) = (m/n)^-1 = 1 / (m/n)

Hence, a^-(m/n) = (1 / a^(m/n)) where m,n are rational numbers.

For example: let 1/2 be rational number and 4 be real number then, 4^-(1/2) = 0.5 = 1/(4^(1/2))
