3%=0.03 you have to get to 6%=0.06

So you find the value of each month in 3%

So 3% divided by 12 months = 0.0025

Now you have the value of each month MULTIPLY until you get 0.06
So: 0.0025 x 1, 2, 3, 4,…….. and so forth

So the your result will be

0.0025per months x 24yrs = 0.06 = 6%
