The answer is - 23.
-9+-9-|-5|. the || mean Absolute value which means that the number inside is the number away from zero so it’s 5 away so instead of a negative 5 it becomes positive and then is hit with the negative on the outside and turns negative Again. And then you just add that to the -18 you got before from adding the two negative 9 and you get -23
