Slope-intercept form :

  • (Y-y)/(X-x) = m; where, m is the slope of the line which consist of the point (x,y)
  • Now, (Y-y) = m(X-x)

[tex]→(Y - 8)=2(X - 2)\\\longmapsto\boxed{\frac{(Y - 8)}{(X - 2)} = 2}✓[/tex]

  • Slope of the line (m) = 2
  • x - intercept = 2
  • y - intercept = 8
  • Point on the line (x,y) = (2,8)
