[tex]5(x - 5) = 2(2x - 4)[/tex]

[tex]5x - 25 = 4x - 8[/tex]

Subtract both sides 4x

[tex]5x - 4x - 25 = 4x - 4x - 8[/tex]

[tex]x - 25 = - 8[/tex]

Add both sides 25

[tex]x - 25 + 25 = - 8 + 25[/tex]

[tex]x = + 17[/tex]

There u go...

Have a great day ❤
