Sammy's aunt made a third of a pound of fudge.

Mathematically,

[tex]\frac{1}{3}[/tex]

Her uncle bought 1/4 of a pound of fudge

[tex]\frac{1}{4}[/tex]

How much more fudge did her aunt make?

Simply subtract the amount of fudge that her uncle bought from the amount of fudge that her ant made.

[tex]\frac{1}{3}-\frac{1}{4}=\frac{4(1)-3(1)}{12}=\frac{4-3}{12}=\frac{1}{12}[/tex]

Therefore, her aunt made 1/12 of a pound more fudge than her uncle.
