The area of a trapezoid is 144 ft 2. If the height is 8 feet and one of the bases is 12 feet, what is the length of the other base?

You get your answer by dividing 144 by 8 (18)
multiplying 18 by 2 (36)
and the subtracting 12 (24)

The length of your other base is 24 feet
