Correction, apologies, it isn't scalene. It is plausibly a ISOSCELES triangle because it states two of the sides are equal to 6 whilst one is equal to 3.

 There are three types of triangles.

1) Equilateral triangle: All the sides and angles are equal.

2) Isosceles triangle: Only two of the sides and angles are equal to one another.

3) Scalene triangle: No sides or angles are equal to each other.
