The y-intercept (b) can be found instantly from the graph:  (0,-2).

The slope is

         0 - (-2)
m = ----------- = 2/6 = 1/3
         6 - 0

Thus, using y = mx + b, we find that the equation of this line is y = (1/3)x - 2.
