we know that
the distance from a point to line (y-axis) is the perpendicular line against y-axis, which is the absolute value of x-coordinates

in this problem
the point (−1.5, 6)
the 
absolute value of x-coordinates is 1.5
hence 
the distance is 1.5

therefore

the answer is
the option B) the point (1.5,-3)
